violet poison is the dark, enigmatic and esoteric side-project of francesco baudazzi, already known as obtane, co-owner with giorgio gigli of the defunct techno label zooloft. the new project is focused on analogue proto-techno with influences from 70s italian progressive bands like goblin or ost composers like fabio frizzi and earlier downwards records from 1994-1995.

part 2 of 2 from mfo on the dekmantel label. the machines take control. the label say: after making their debut on dekmantel not so long ago, italian duo rio padice and massimo di lena, together known as mephisto frequency oscillator (mfo) now serve up part two of the future city traffic ep. across four new tracks they continue to explore grainy, dirty house that is variously soulful, funky or cosmic in nature.

skylax welcomes f.t.g., known to house music scholars as freddy the groove, and his many friends for our next release in 2014. last year, f.t.g. and his italian partner in crime, marco riff (who also appears on this very record), pressed a very limited run of a single-sided, special throwback tribute to late 80s chicago house music. the track was aptly named ‘tribute ’89’, and it put a more dancefloor oriented twist on a track by a certain originator with the initials r.h. needless to say, it became highly sought-after incredibly quickly and fuel was further added to the fire by the repeated club play by none other than the dj idol ricardo villalobos. luckily for our followers, that original mix appears on this ep with another unreleased mix of the track and 2 originals featuring belfie and alex tea alongside f.t.g.with enough said about ‘tribute ‘89’ itself, the unreleased mix maintains the warehouse vibe with a heavy kick and bouncing bass pattern but takes it to another level with the introduction of rolling vocal cuts and a rather ravey synth line. flipping over the to b-side, we are treated with two tracks by f.t.g. and alex tea, named ‘public enemy’ and ‘bango’, with the former also seeing belfie lend a helping hand in the production. both of these originals round out the record nicely and cement it as another skylax release that is definitely not to be missed

sleeparchives influential minimalistic power in combination with the unique, endlessly evolving sound of mike parker, appear together for the first time on rptch04 split ep.
sleeparchive starts off on the a side, creating industrious textures with *fifth station* followed by two (endless) loops that lead to the a2 *white angel breadline*, a mesmerizing track with the classic sleeparchives timbre and brightness.
mike parker is responsible for one of the most recognizable sound of techno which is characterized by sublime, fluid atmospheres and never-ending hypnotic sequences. repitch recordings introduces him on the b-side with *flying nerves* and *lustrum*, leaving an indelible mark on the eleventh release of the italian berlin based label.

after few nolder, italian fellow lehar aka lorenzo esposito is the second new signing for connaisseur this year. apart from his residency at the cirq club in venice and regular bookings at some of the best clubs and parties in italy and malta, lehar truly is a very talented producer as well. some of you might have heard the free download for lehars remix of kollektiv turmstrasses classic *tristesse* which has caused some attention on him the past weeks and was therefore the perfect precursor for this release. his demo impressed us very much and both titles really hit our taste. and as though this wasn t enough, together with his demo he delivered a remix by his friend and probably hottest producer of the moment: mario basanov, head of the label boso and mostly know under his moniker ten walls.
